The robot is sitting on a modified furniture dolly that I use to haul it
around when its not activated. Those funny felt blue and red markers on the sides were
required by the contest rules. They were used by some of the robots with vision cameras to
differentiate other robots. My robot did not use or need them and is able to differentiate
accurately between people and objects without normal vision.
The weird round bowel thing on top is the microphone mount. The design is an attempt to directionalize a non directional microphone.
